For most people their first experience of camping is roughing it for a night or two in a tent with minimal in the way of creature comforts.

Ask anyone if they have ever slept in a tent and they will probably tell you yes. Most of those people will say they had a great time and probably have a story to tell because tent camping brings with it a sense of adventure. I still have fond memories of my young son drying a pair of socks on a stick he held over the campfire. He had a grin from ear to ear and I will take that picture with me forever.
